It's Christmas...?

That's a Christmas present I made for a friend of mine.
It's a re-writing of Alice nel paese delle meraviglie (Alice in wonderland) that became La Licia nel paese delle meraviglie :D
In the little book (it turn out to be 84 pages) we, me and my friends, are the protagonists of the story.

The first is obviously Licia (ok, these are not the final colours), the second one is a friend of us that became the March Hare and the last is me (ghgh), as the Cheshire Cat ^^

Hope she will like the book... Also I hope she will not look at this site before I gave my present to her XD

Anyway, these are illustrations made for my illustration exam (wo, could never imagine, right?) based on Buzzati's "Il segreto del Bosco Vecchio" (pretty much "The secret of the Old Forest"....?)

I made them after seeing Chris Riddell's work... If you don't know him... well, you should watch for him! ^^
